The “Twilight” movie series are five movies based on four books from Stephenie Meyer that revolves around a human girl that gets involved in the lives of vampires and werewolves. In just four years, “Twilight” became one of the most successful film series of all-time. The first film in the series, “Twilight”, was released in November 2008. The film revolves around the relationship of Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, and vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson. “New Moon,” the second in the film series, would be released the following November to even greater success. The final book in the series, “Breaking Dawn,” was broken into two movies to capitalize on the popularity of the series at the box office. Bella marries Edward, gets pregnant with his child and has him transform her into a vampire in “Breaking Dawn Part 1.” The film would make 712 million worldwide.
Fans would flock to the theaters to see the conclusion of the series in November 2012, which would make “Breaking Dawn Part 2″ the most successful film in the series earning 829 million. The film ends with Edward, Bella, Jacob and Bella’s daughter living happily together.
